This is a pretty basic operation and there is a lot of different ways to do it. Since I really like to work with my oven and that roasted peppers is such an amazing thing to have in your kitchen at all time, let me show you today how to make oven roasted peppers.
– WHAT YOU WILL NEED –
1 teaspoon of Olive Oil
1 Bell Pepper
your Oven 😉
1- Pre-heat your oven at broil.
2- On a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil brush your pepper with a tab of olive oil on each sides.
3- Put in the oven for approximately 20-25 minutes and make sure to keep in eye on it and ROTATE YOUR PEPPER to make sure all the sides have the chance to burn and the skin unsticking from the pepper.
4- At the end, it should look a like the photo above. At this point, remove from oven and put in a mixing bowl covered with aluminum foil. Wait for 10 to 15 minutes to let the pepper sweat. Then remove the cover and let cool for 5 minute before cutting because it’s going to be crazy hot!
Extra Tip: Try to resist the temptation to rinse your pepper to remove all the little seeds because you will also be removing some of the good roasted flavors (my personal opinion of course)
